What are you doing online? You should be out playing in the sunnnnnnnnn! Hope you're having a nice visit :D Is it really warm? I'm trying to pack lighter fall items...summer stuff is all put away.

We just got in and are going to dinner in a few, so I thought I'd check in. I haven't been on much, which is nice.

It was about 75 today, but all days have been sunny and it's warm sun. :)

Lighter fall stuff... no hoodies since I got off the plane.

EEE! I can't wait either!!!

Forecast says rain Wed and Thurs but I'm betting it's light. Temperature is lovely. Fri and Sat will be perfect, sunny days.

I'm gonna wear my summer dresses, rain or shine!!!

A coworker told me that when it rains in Texas, it RAINS! Like what we had here over the weekend. Don't know if it's true but atleast Fri and Sat will be perfect. I will have to do some searching for lighter clothing. Maybe I'll hit Ross tonight.

Oooo! Wish I had time for a Ross run. Don't I always though!

It's gonna be hard for me not to overpack with rain AND sun coming up!

I really don't have time for a Ross run but will likely have to make it happen. Shouldn't be too bad since they opened one close by on crack hill.

I'm not concerned with overpacking when I think about those damn baggage charges! What a rip.

Yea! Do you know what the "rules" are?

I'm flying Delta there and Alaska back (same return flight as you) but I think most airlines are the same on these types of charges. $20 each way for baggage. However, on Delta I checked in online and only had to pay $15 since I checked in early on their website (at the airport it is $20 plus an additional $5 if you use curbside assistance). Not sure how much extra they charge for "ver the weight limit" baggage.

Holy crap! I thought at least SOME was included! Is it just paying for the one you check, or do you have to pay for carry on too? I was going to bring a small suitcase, and a carry on.

Sorry to bug you, I'm just not in the know!

You'd think right? When I said each way, I meant each trip ($20 to Austin and $20 back - no charge for connecting flights). You're allowed one free carry on plus purse. There is a charge for extra carry on but not sure how much. I'd stick to the guidlines.

Hope this helps? No bother <3 I'm in the biz, remember ;)

Oh, and the weather has been gorgeous!!! IF it does rain, it will be really quick and then it will vanish all of the sudden. I don't think you'll get any. They usually call for chances of rain. Also, you will be near the Outlets in San Marcos!!!!

And it turns out you weren't there quite as early as expected. Stupid over booking airlines. I'm so glad it all worked out in the end.
